A 47-YEAR-OLD hog raiser from Ibaan, Batangas, claimed the jackpot prize of P29,700,000 for the Grand Lotto 6/55 drawn on January 21, 2023.

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), on Monday, said the new millionaire claimed his price with the winning combination 03-44-10-13-23-11 at the PCSO Main Office in Shaw Blvd., Mandaluyong City recently.

For most of his life, the Batangueño hog raiser shared that he has been a diligent lotto player for almost ten years. He hopes to turn his misfortunes around that is why he never ceased to patronize the PCSO Lotto games.

He revealed that his combination came from the system’s “lucky pick,” and he was very grateful upon learning that the combination came out.

As a father of three, he added that he will utilize his winnings in preparing for the future of his children.

The lottery winner made an appeal to the gaming public to continue patronizing the PCSO games.

Under the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law, prizes above 10,000 are subject to 20% final tax.

All winnings should be within one year from the date of the draw. Otherwise, the same would be forfeited as part of the charity fund according to the PCSO Charter (Republic Act No. 1169).

Lotto results and other details of the PCSO games, products, and services can be viewed on the PCSO Official Website, PCSO Facebook page, and PCSO GOV Channel on YouTube.
