Another oil price hike
BIG and small oil firms announced another round of price hike on their petroleum products effective Tuesday.
Petron Corporation and Pilipinas Shell in separate advisories implemented an increase of P0.95 per liter on diesel, gasoline by P0.50 per liter and kerosene by P0.60 per liter effective at 6 a.m.
Chevron Philippines, another major oil firm, also imposed the same price adjustment on its petroleum products much earlier at 12:01 a.m.
Independent oil companies PTT Philippines, Total Philippines, Petro Gazz, Unioil Philippines and Seaoil which do not sell kerosene imposed the same price hike on their diesel and gasoline products, also at 6 a.m. on Tuesday while Clean Fuel at 4:01 p.m.
PTT Philippines Communication Officer Jhay Julian said the price adjustment mainly reflect movements in the international oil market.
