CREAMLINE and Choco Mucho clash for a second straight Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference Finals.

While the Cool Smashers are gunning for a record eight league crown, the Flying Titans hope to earn a breakthrough after learning the lessons of last December’s defeat.

A record-breaking five-setter which drew a crowd of 24,459 at the fabled Smart Araneta Coliseum saw Choco Mucho’s Finals debut ended in a heartbreak, as Creamline displayed championship pedigree to remain as queens.

The Flying Titans ended up second in the preliminary round with a 9-2 record and completed a three-match sweep of the semifinals, including a five-set conquest of the Cool Smashers to reach the league’s biggest stage.

Creamline ended up tied with PLDT in fourth place at 8-3 but it was able to secure the No. 4 ranking in the prelims by virtue of a strong point ratio.

The Cool Smashers placed second with a 2-1 semis record to make it to the best-of-three Finals.

After splitting their two encounters in the conference, both teams are driven by a burning desire to etch their names in PVL history.

For Creamline, it’s about extending its dynasty, aiming for a third straight All-Filipino crown.

Choco Mucho, no doubt, is hungry for redemption.

Beyond their individual talents, it’s the collective spirit and resilience of each team that truly sets them apart.

For coach Sherwin Meneses, it’s a journey marked by unity and the ability to rise to the occasion when it matters most for the Cool Smashers.

For the Flying Titans, it’s a testament to coach Dante Alinsunurin’s motivational prowess, crafting a championship-caliber system and transforming his players into one cohesive unit driven by a shared goal.

As the countdown to the Finals begins, anticipation reaches fever pitch with the honor to emerge victorious serving as the culmination of months of hard work, sacrifice and an unwavering dedication for both teams.

Both teams have faced challenges throughout the conference but their unity and determination propelled them to the best-of-three championship series beginning Thursday showdown at the Big Dome.
