During the distribution of certificates of recognition held at the SM SouthMall in Las Pinas City, Reyes thanked Act Agri Kaagapay founder and president Virginia Ledesma Rodriguez for supporting numerous livelihood projects that would help many poor families, specially the small farmers indigenous peoples or IPs.

The Health Caravan was initiated by Reyes through the help of the management of S SouthMall and Act Agri-Kaagapay as part of the joint effort in providing jobs to thousands of Filipino families through various livelihood programs and to empower themselves for a brighter future.

Those who attended and completed the seminar will be given a chance to work with popular salons in the country and can be endorsed to other beauty shops as hair dressers and beauticians.

Aside from hair cutting seminars, the Health Caravan will include the distribution of medicines and vitamins; training for barangay health workers on emergency preparedness; blood typing; blood sugar checks; feeding programs; and more.

“We are delighted to grant these livelihood opportunities to our hardworking women and dedicated parents.
