PHILIPPINE National Police (PNP) chief General Benjamin C. Acorda Jr. this week was honored by the PNP Academy (PNPA) with a grand testimonial parade and review at the PNPA headquarters in Camp Castañeda in Silang, Cavite.

During the event, PNPA cadets showed a perfect display of precision and discipline in honor Acorda’s “exemplary” leadership and commitment to the nation’s security and welfare.

In his speech before PNPA officials and cadets, the top cop underscored the importance of “Serbisyong Nagkakaisa” or “Unity in Service” anew among all members of the police force and its training institutions.

Acorda likewise highlighted the significance of collaboration and unity among the police force, other law enforcement agencies, and the community in achieving the highest standards of public service and maintaining peace and order in the country.

The PNP chief expressed his gratitude to the PNPA headed by Major Gen. Eric E. Noble for organizing such a “momentous occasion.”

“I am truly honored and humbled by this testimonial parade and review. This event symbolizes the strong bond between the PNPA and the Philippine National Police, as well as our shared commitment to upholding the principles of excellence, integrity, and service,” he said.

The PNPA, the main source of police commissioned officers in the country, took “great pride” in recognizing Acorda’s appointment as the 29th PNP chief.

Under his leadership, the police academy looks forward to fostering closer ties with the police force, promoting professional development, and continuing to produce well-rounded law enforcement officers who will serve and protect the nation with utmost dedication.
