SIX wanted persons were arrested by the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) in latest manhunt operations.
PLTCol. Ritchie Claravall, Masambong Police Station (PS 2) commander, arrested Dennis Espinar, 49, on August 20, 2021 in front of the East West Bank, Bgy. Greenhills, San Juan City for estafa.
On that same day, Jose Dela Torre, 57, was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest while being detained at the custodial facility of Masambong Police Station for violation of Batas Pambansa Blg. 6.
PLTCol. Alexy Sonido, Batasan Police Station (PS 6) commander, said Reneboy Auditor, 44, resident of Blk 7, Lot 1, Phase 4, Necasia St., Bgy. Commonwealth, Quezon City was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest also on the same day in his residence for estafa with bail set at P18,000.
PLTCol. Imelda Reyes, Anonas Police Station (PS 9) commander, said Jose Flores, 31, resident of 013 Riverside Kaingin 2, Bgy. Pansol, Quezon City was arrested at about 5:45 p.m. of the same date at the BJMP Quezon City Jail Quarantine Facility, Payatas Rd., Bgy. Silangan, Quezon City for violation of R.A. 10591 or the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition.
PLTCol. Elizabeth Jasmin, Galas Police Station (PS 11) commander, said another wanted person identified as Rovin Torreliza, 34, was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest at about 2:30 p.m. of the same date in his residence in Quezon City for qualified theft with bail set at P24,000.
Meanwhile, operatives of Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU) under PMAJ Elmer Monsalve arrested Cris Peñaloza, 25, by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest at about 3:10 p.m. of the same date in his residence in Bgy. Paltok, Quezon City for murder with no bail recommended.
