LAGUNA Police on Thursday announced the arrest of suspected drug pushers in three separate anti-illegal drug operations in Laguna.

Acting Provincial Director PCol. Rogarth Campo reported to Calabarzon Regional Director PBGen. Antonio Yarra for the arrest of Jeffrey Motel, 39, a security guard of Ayala Greenfield Estates in Calamba City.

The suspect sold illegal drugs to poseur-buyer in exchange for P500 marked money.

A preventive search led to the confiscation of four plastic sachets of shabu with an estimated weight of 1 gram valued at P6,800, a coin purse, P250 drug money, and recovered marked money.

In Cabuyao City Police under the chief of police PLt. Brigido Salisi, the suspect was identified as Rommel Villaran, 41, bus driver, Ogilvie Palmiano, 53, shuttle driver, both residents of Bgy. Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna who sold illegal drugs to an undercover police officer for P500 marked money.

A preventive search led to the confiscation of two plastic sachets of shabu, a Toyota RAV4 SUV, and recovered marked money.

In Santa Rosa City Police, under the chief of police PLt.Col. Paulito Sabulao, Ednor Mahalin Reyes, 44, of Bgy. Market Area, Sta. Rosa City, was also arrested during a buy-bust operation.

Confiscated from the suspect, plastic sachets of shabu with an estimated weight of 0.10 grams with a street value of P2,000, P300 drug money, and the marked money.

While in Rizal Municipal Police Station, acting chief of police of PCapt. Paul RA Ayon, in a report identified the suspect as Virgilio Dela Cruz, 34, jobless, of Bgy. Uno, Laguna –collared in a buy-bust op.

Confiscated from Dela Cruz, of three plastic sachets of shabu with a street value of P1,500, a coin purse, P200 suspected as drug money and recovered marked money.

In Lumban, PCapt. ED Richard Pacana, acting chief of police, operatives arrested Dion Mercado Legisma, 43, construction worker, of Bgy. Segunda Parang, Lumban.

Confiscated from the suspect, of two plastic sachets of shabu, P100 cash, and a coin purse, and recovered buy-bust money.

The arrested suspects will be charged for violation of R.A 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002, and the seized pieces of evidence will be submitted to the Crime Laboratory Office for forensic examination.
