4 SIBLINGS MASSACRED IN CAVITE
TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite – THE motive of the man was intense jealousy and he was pushed to massacre the four children of his live-in partner before stabbing himself yesterday in Barangay Cabuco here.
The bloodied and lifeless victims who were found in their rooms were identified as Maria, 14 years old; Bianca, 10; Joy, 8; and Conrad, 6 – all residents of Bgy. Cabuco of the said city.
The suspect, who is the stepfather of the victims, is also dead after being stabbed in the chest after he massacred the children. The suspect was identified as Felimon Galisangga Escalona, a 38-year-old tricycle driver who is also a resident of the said area and lives with the victims’ mother.
In a report gathered from Police Lt. Colonel Jonathan Aznan, chief of police in this city, at 12:35 in the afternoon, the Trece Martires Police received a call from the barangay officials of Cabuco regarding an alleged disturbance at the house of the victims.
When the police arrived at the Summer Homes in Bgy. Cabuco, Trece Martires City, the gate of the house was locked. They had to use a bolt cutter to open it.
As the police entered the house, the suspect immediately rushed to them, lying bleeding and with a knife wound to his chest.
Upon entering the siblings’ rooms, the police found the bloodied bodies of the victims with stab wounds.
It was learned from the neighbors of the victims that they heard shouts and cries in the said house, so they sought help from the barangay officials and the police.
Based on the police investigation, the mother of the siblings is an overseas Filipino worker in Saudi Arabia and that her relationship with the suspect has reportedly only been for more than a month.
