CAMP GEN. ALEJO S. SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan – At least 11 wanted persons, ten drug suspects, and a gun law violator were all arrested during Bulacan PNP’s (Philippine National Police) weeklong Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO).

Reports submitted to Police Regional Office (PRO) 3 Director P/Brigadier General Jose Hidalgo Jr., Bulacan Police Director Col. Relly Arnedo said operations of the Hagonoy police, 2nd PMFC, and Pandi police led to the arrest of four suspects wanted for several charges such as counts of statutory rape and murder.

Seven more felons wanted for various crimes and violations were arrested by operatives of the Meycauayan City, CSJDM, Paombong, San Miguel, and Norzagaray police.

Ten suspected drug “peddlers” were arrested in a series of anti-illegal drug busts by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of CSJDM, Guiguinto, and San Rafael police, while some 19 sachets of shabu, drug paraphernalia, and marked money were recovered.

A suspect was arrested for direct assault and violation of RA (Republic Act) 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) after a follow-up operation by operatives of the Pandi police in Bgy. Malawak, Bustos.

One .45 pistol with a magazine containing four live bullets was recovered from the suspect.

Arnedo said the Bulacan police demonstrated “unwavering” determination in their campaign against crime, lawlessness, and violence in accordance with the directives of the PRO 3 director.
