Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Three Nigerian drug peddlers were arrested in Angeles City Thursday.

In a report to Police Regional Office-3 Director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon, Angeles police chief Col. Rommel Batangan said elements of the Angeles Criminal Investigation and Detection Group and Police Station 5 nabbed Nigerian nationals Harrison Steve alias “Eke”, 43, a buy and sell car dealer residing at Bgy. Mabiga, Mabalacat City; student Christian Uwadiegwu alias “Chuk”, 27, and Caleb Njemonze, 28, both of Diamond Subdivision in Bgy. Balibago, in a buy-bust on Camia Road, Bgy. Cutcut, Angeles City.

Seized from them were 11 plastic sachets containing shabu more or less 25 grams with DDB value of P170,000, one tumbler containing marijuana worth at least P3,850, a 38 revolver, three live bullets, seven assorted cellphones, a passport, one wallet containing two IDs and two ATM cards.

Police impounded a Toyota Camry with plate number ZMN 674 and a Mazda 2 with plate number RMY 522 being used by the suspects in their illegal trade.

Batangan said the suspects are members of the notorious “Mr. IZO” drug group under “COPLAN SNOOPDOGG” engaged in gun running, illegal drug trafficking and other illegal activities operating in Angeles City and nearby towns.

The suspects will be charged with violation of Sec. 5, Sec. 11 and Sec. 26 of RA 9165 and RA 10591.

De Leon commended the operating troops saying with the constant arrest of drug personalities by the Central Luzon police, illegal drug traders will have less opportunity in destroying more lives.
