CAMP GEN. MIGUEL MALVAR, Batangas — The Batangas Police Provincial Office (BPPO) have arrested three most wanted persons, including a teacher, in the province.

Officer-in-Charge (OIC) ) Police Col. Pedro D,.Soliba to Regional Director, PRO CALABARZON (Cavite/Laguna/Batangas/Rizal/Quezon) P/Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez, Jr. said among those arrested by Balete police was a 23-year-old teacher, single, and resident of Project 8, Quezon City.

A warrant of arrest for qualified theft was issued against the suspect by the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 6, Fourth Judicial Region of Tanauan City, Batangas on February 9, 2022.

Meanwhile, a 43-year-old married man and a resident of Batangas City was collared in his house in Bgy. 2, Calatagan, Batangas by operatives of the Calatagan Municipal Police Station (MPS) pursuant to an arrest warrant issued by the Municipal Trial Court (MTC) of Calatagan dated May 24, 2022, for falsification of commercial documents (40 counts). Bail for his provisional liberty was set at P36,000 for each count or a total of P1,440,000.

In a joint operation of the Rosario MPS and Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU) 4A, Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIT) Batangas, a farmer, 40, married, and a resident of Rosario town was captured by a virtue of the arrest warrant issued by the RTC, Branch 87, Rosario, Batangas on September 12, for case of frustrated murder. Bail was set at P200,000.

The alleged occurred on November 21, 2021. The victim was installing a tarpaulin in front of the sari-sari store when the suspect allegedly stabbed him in the head.
