235 collared in 1-week anti-crime ops in Laguna

THE Laguna Police Provincial Office (LPPO) arrested 235 suspects with different cases in a one-week anti-criminality operation conducted in Laguna.

Laguna Provincial Director Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Police Colonel Randy Glenn G. Silvio said the arrested individuals are involved in illegal drugs, illegal gambling, loose firearms, and wanted persons in the said province.

Silvio said the anti-crime operations started on October 19 to 24.

In the anti-illegal drugs buy-bust operation they conducted, 60 were arrested; 73 individuals yielded 38.24 grams of shabu and 631.541 grams of marijuana with a total value of P437,740.

The anti-illegal gambling operation bagged 99 suspects and seized P80,988 total gambling money.

The Laguna PNP (Philippine National Police) manhunt operations collared 24 “most wanted persons” (MWPs) and 37 others wanted, including the MWP at the regional level for murder, and two held for loose firearms.
