TWO young men and a woman on the list of drug personalities yielded more than P80,000 worth of shabu in a drug sting operation Sunday evening in Malabon City.

Malabon police chief P/Col. Albert Barot identified the arrested suspects as Raymart Pering, 18, of Blk 12A Lot 17 Hiwas Street, Joener Samarro, 18, of Blk 1, Lot 30, Ph. 2, Area 3, Dagat-Dagatan and Yuchie Meracap, 21 of Blk 10, Lot 43, Hito St., all in Brgy. Longos.

The three were arrested by elements of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Malabon police led by P/SSgt. Kenneth Geronimo at around 11:55 p.m. along P. Aquino Avenue, Brgy. Tonsuya after they sold shabu to a police poseur-buyer for P500.

P/Lt. Alexander Dela Cruz, OIC of the SDEU, said the suspects yielded 13 grams of shabu, including the subject of sale, placed in five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets with standard drug price of P88,400 and the P500 marked money.

Case investigator P/MSgt. Randy Billedo learned that Pering and Meracap were newly listed drug pushers in Barangay Longos while Samarro was listed as drug user. He added that the suspects further expanded their illegal drug operations in nearby barangays that resulted in their arrest.
