Woman dies from ‘fatal’ head injury from drunk partner
A DRUNK man was arrested Thursday for killing his live-in partner in front of Cab Hardware on McArthur Highway, Bgy. Balibago, in Angeles City, Pampanga.
Angeles City Police said the victim was a resident of Sta. Maria Vill. 2, Bgy. Balibago, Angeles City, and the suspect (live-in partner) from Purok 4 Grotto, Sapang Bato, Angeles City.
Two witnesses said that the suspect was under the influence of liquor and allegedly asked the victim to have “sex” but refused.
The suspect got irked and punched the victim several times.
One of the witnesses, a female scavenger, tried to pacify the suspect but didn’t stop and instead grabbed the head of the victim and banged it several times on the pavement, causing fatal head injuries.
The victim was rushed to Ospital Ning Angeles but later died.
The suspect was arrested through a follow-up operation and will be charged with homicide.
