Silang LGE creates ‘TF Disiplina sa 4P’s to monitor beneficiaries
SILANG, Cavite – Mayor Kevin Anarna signed an executive order (EO) that created a “task force” that will monitor the beneficiaries of the “Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program” or 4Ps if it is distributed properly to deserving low-income families Thursday, July 21, 2022, in his office at the New Municipal Hall in Barangay Biga 1.
Anarna signed the directives through EO AKA-010-2022, which formed a “Disciplinary Task Force” to monitor the 4Ps beneficiaries of the locality.
According to Mayor Anarna, 4Ps beneficiaries caught gambling, drinking alcohol, and ATM pawning or “sangla” will be reported to the DSWD (Department of Social Welfare and Development) Regional Office.
He added that anyone who violates the EO will be subject to revalidation and may be “removed” from the list of beneficiaries.
“Hindi po binibigyan ng gobyerno ang mga 4Ps ng tulong pinansyal para lang isugal ito at [uminom] ng alak. Para po ito sa ‘poorest of the poor’ na walang sapat na kakayahan para may ipangkain sa pang araw-araw,” Anarna pointed out.
The “Task Force 4Ps” designated Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD) officers, barangay officials, and local police who can apprehend those who violate the said order of the local government executive.
Anarna said Silang citizens may also report any EO violator, photographed or caught in the act of drinking alcohol, or inform the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office at (046) 414-3137.
