Veterinary programs para sa future vets alok ng QC
MAGANDANG balita para sa mga veterinary students mula sa iba’t ibang unibersidad at kolehiyo sa Luzon.
Ang Quezon City Veterinary Department (QCVD) ay may alok na internship program na kinabibilangan ng clinical practices kasama na ang animal care, adoption, rabie prevention, control at spay and neuter para sa inyo.
Ayon kay Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, magkakaloob din ang lungsod ng training positions tungkol sa Food Hygiene and Meat regulation.
“Part of the curriculum of Veterinary Medicine is exposure to off-campus learning experiences. Through our comprehensive internship program, we hope to provide valuable hands-on and actual experience to soon-to-be veterinarians” paliwanag ni Belmonte.
Ang QCVD ang magsisilbing training ground ng mga ito hanggang makatapos ng pag aaral at mapractice ang kanilang propesyon.
“Iba ang nagagawa ng actual practice bukod sa theories lang. Mas marami silang matututunan kung nahahasa sila ng husto habang nag-aaral pa,” dagdag ni Belmonte.
Aniya, nakipag-ugnayan narin ang QCVD sa mga unibersidad at kolehiyo para sa mga naturang programa.
Sinabi ni City Veterinarian Dr. Ana Maria Cabel na ipagkakaloob din ng QCVD ang joint academics, research, training, at seminars.
“This will be the first time that an LGU is offering its services for the internship of soon-to-be veterinarians. Their school teaches them concepts, and the city will let them gain practical knowledge and skills that will complement their theoretical learning,” pahayag ni Cabel.
Aniya, isang win-win situation para sa mga mag aaral at sa lungsod ang programa dahil hindi lamang mapapalawak nito ng husto ang serbisyo gayundin ay may hatid na higit na kaalaman at pagsasanay na may positive impact sa kalagayan ng mga hayop at sa mga residente sa komunidad.
