Trike driver found dead in NE
A TRICYCLE driver on Tuesday was found dead, with gunshot wounds, on Putol St., Bgy. Mambangnan, San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Nueva Ecija police identified the victim as Rafael Castro, 55, of Bgy. Ulanin Pitak, Jaen, Nueva Ecija.
Police said the victim was found lying in the side car of a red tricycle with plate number 8539 CZ parked on the road shoulder.
Recovered in the area were three spent bullets from a cal. .45 pistol.
The victim was rushed to the NEMC Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Authorities are checking the CCTV footages in the area to identify and arrest the suspect.
