Tokyo Olympics medalists banner Asian Games boxing team
ASSOCIATION of Boxing Alliances in the Philippines (AbAP) president Cong. Robbie Puno and chairman Ricky Vargas hosted a sendoff dinner for the Hangzhou, China Asian Games-bound national boxers and coaches last Tuesday, September 12.
The team is bannered by Tokyo Olympics silver medalists Carlo Paalam and Nesthy Petecio, and bronze medal winner Eumir Felix Marcial.
Also in attendance were ABAP secretary-general Marcus Manalo, ABAP treasurer Karina Picson and nutritionist Jeaneth Aro.
Six ABAP men’s boxers and three women will plunge into action in the boxing competition from September 24 to October 5 at the Hangzhou gymnasium.
