TINGOG Party List led by Reps. Yedda Marie K. Romualdez and Jude Acidre, as well as Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, in partnership with the Marcos administration through the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), extended assistance to 295 fire victims in Taytay, Rizal, as well as 1,141 student-beneficiaries in Mindanao.

“Tingog Party List in collaboration with the Marcos administration is always committed to helping our people who need assistance. That is
our (Tingog party-list) brand of service,” Rep. Yedda Romualdez said after the distribution of assistance to individuals in crisis situation (AICS) program to beneficiaries.

“We hope that our assistance will make a difference in their lives. Giving back to our people is a long-standing tradition of the Tingog party list,” Acide said.

“We hope this act of kindness will inspire positive change,” Speaker Romualdez said. “The Marcos government is committed to working  together with us to help alleviate the plight of our people.”

On Wednesday, each of the 295 fire victims last April 8 of Brgy. Dolores, Brgy. Muzon, and Brgy. San Juan in Taytay, Rizal received P3,000 from DSWD’s AICS.

The payout ceremony was attended by Mayor Allan De Leon, Councilor Elaine Boknay Leonardo, and Councilor Patrick Alcantara and was held at the San Juan Gym.

De Leon and Alcantara took the opportunity to acknowledge and expresstheir gratitude to Tingog Party List and the Speaker’s Office for their unwavering commitment to extend financial assistance to Taytay’s residents.

They also conveyed her appreciation to the party list for their past initiatives, including the Pneumococcal Vaccination Program.

In Mindanao, the group also provided financial assistance to several schools and their students who are in dire need of help for their education through DSWD’s AICS.

The schools include St. Mary’s Academy of Midsayap in North Cotabato with 443 beneficiaries, Holy Cross of Digos in Davao Del Sur with 68 beneficiaries, and St. Mary’s Academy of Sta. Cruz in Davao Del Sur with 430 beneficiaries, and St. Mary’s Academy in Caraga, Davao Oriental with 200 beneficiaries.

The group distributed assistance to 1,141 beneficiaries.

Each beneficiary received cash assistance of P5,000.

The payout event was met with great appreciation and gratitude from the schools, who commended the Tingog party list for its unwavering commitment to public service.

It is the sincere hope of all parties involved that the financial assistance will significantly alleviate the burden faced by the students and their families.
