Holy Child Catholic School Batch 1982 reunion on July 23
MEMBERS OF Batch 1982 of the Holy Child Catholic School, Tondo Manila will be celebrating their 40th Ruby Anniversary/Reunion on July 23, 2022 at the 9th floor, BayLeaf Intramuros, 9 Spoon Restaurant located along Muralla St., Intramuros, Manila.
Organizers of the event are the new set of officers namely Armando Buzeta (President), Dulce Amor Rodriguez Santos (VP), Charito Francisco Baranda ( Sec), Teresa Garcia (Treasurer) and Nicasio Nick Martin (PRO).
Baranda revealed that despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the committee decided to push through with the reunion “to celebrate life with classmates, batchmates, friends and teachers.”
“We made it despite the many challenges. This reunion is a celebration of life, love, friendship and survival,” Baranda added.
Buzeta is encouraging everyone to participate in the event as there will be memorabilia and memento hour, entertainment which will include special dancing and singing, a presentation by some batchmates who would be sharing funny moments and experiences during their high school days and a trivia hour with photo sharing.
“We need to laugh at our own mistakes and challenges during our younger days. We should know how to enjoy life now. Each and every single moment should come to us as a celebration of life specially that we are all survivors of this pandemic,” Buzeta said.
Rodriguez Santos bared there will also be recognition awards for the teachers of Batch 82, slide shows and videos, and powerpoint presentations using the batch’s high school days as background and committee recognition for those who would also be receiving special awards for contributing something extra for the reunion.
Rodriguez Santos said this once in a lifetime event will involve “a little sharing of ourselves during our high school days.”
“I hope everyone can join. We are all part of this beautiful HCCS Batch of 1982. Let us all make this event memorable to share our good laughs and good stories to remember,” she added.
