Stings net 5 drug traffickers in Pampanga, Bulacan
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Five suspected drug pushers on Friday were arrested in separate entrapment operations in Pampanga and Bulacan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., arrested in Pampanga were Juanito Herreros III, 48, of Bgy. Sto. Cristo, Guagua; and Aliza Ann Canuto, 37, of Bgy. 73, Caloocan City.
Personnel of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Guagua police conducted the anti-illegal drug operation in Bgy. San Antonio, Guagua, Pampanga.
Seized from the duo were seven plastic sachets of more or less 30 grams of shabu worth P204,000 and the marked money.
In Bulacan, Crisanto Avena alias “Bunso,” 43; Dariel Lazaro, 27; and Lyza Dizon, 40, were arrested by operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit of the San Jose Del Monte Police Station in a drug sting in Bgy. Gumaoc East, CSJDM.
Confiscated from the three suspects were seven plastic sachets of shabu weighing approximately 100 grams amounting to P680,000 and the buy-bust money.
Hidalgo said the PNP and the PRO3 is continuously working together to curb the proliferation of all forms of illegal drugs in Central Luzon.
