Sports on Air goes grassroots

SPORTS on Air welcomes the month of October with the grassroots development programs in karate, table tennis and swimming on the table.

Joining the 41st episode of the weekly online sports program are Victor Canon, head of the International Karate Organization-Nakamura Philippines; Julius Esposo, tournament director of the Federation of School Sports Association of the Philippines (FESSAP); and Fred Ancheta, executive director of Swim League Philippines.

Canon will also talk about the Filipinos’ campaign in the coming 2022 International Friendship Karate Championships scheduled Nov. 13 in Osaka, Japan.

Esposo will discuss the FESSAP National Age-Group Table Tennis Championships on Nov. 5-6 at the Robinsons Novaliches.

Ancheta will announce the plans Swim League Philippines and BEST (Behrouz Elite Swimming Team), as well as the coming Manila Swimfest International Pre-Qualifying Meet on Nov. 5 at the Philippine Columbian Association in Paco.

This will be the 4ist episode of “Sports On Air”, the hottest and most comprehensive sports talk show on air.

The weekly program is managed by Ed Andaya of People’s Tonight, Ernest Leo Hernandez of SOA, Gerard Arce of Abante, Ivan Saldajeno of Philippine News Agency, Gab Ferreras of Sports Corner, Jean Malanum of Philippine News Agency and Danny Simon of Police Files.
