ANG pioneering P-Pop group na SB19 na binubuo nina Justin, Josh, Pablo, Stell at Ken ang siyang nakapag-uwi ng pinakamaraming awards with 7 na sinundan ng folk pop and pop rock group na Ben&Ben na binubuo nina Paolo Benjamin Guico, Miguel Benjamin Guico, Agnes Reoma, Jam Villanueva, Toni Munoz, Poch Barretto, Patricia Lasaten, Keifer Cabugao at Andrew de Pano na
nakasungkit naman ng limang awards.

Ang dalawang popular band ang biggest winners sa 2022 Awit Awards na ginanap sa Newport Performing Arts Theater ng Newport World Resorts in Pasay City last Wednesday night, November 23. Ang SB19 ay nakapag-uwi ng Best Global Recording for the song “What?,” Best Vocal Arrangement (“Mapa”), Best Pop Recording (“Bazinga”), Best Dance Recording (“Bazinga”), Most Streamed Song (“Mapa”), Most Streamed Artist and Best Performance by a Group Recording Artist (“Mapa”).

Limang awards naman ang naiuwi ng grupong Ben&Ben at ang mga ito ay ang Album of the Year (“Ben&Ben”), Best Musical Arrangement (“Ben&Ben”), Best Music Video (with Zild and Juan Karlos), Best Collaboration Performance (“Sabel” with KZ Tandingan), Best World Music Recording (“Sabel” with KZ Tandingan).

Tatlong parangal naman ang nakuha ng tinaguriang Asia’s Soul Supreme at 2012 X Factor Philippines winner at pop star na si KZ Tandingan with two awards para sa awiting “Sabel,” her collaboration with Ben&Ben at Best Performance by a Female Recording Artist para sa kanyang song na “11:59”.

Ang phenomenal star na si Belle Francisco took home with two awards as Favorite Song award para sa kanyang single na “Sigurado” and Breakthrough Artist of the Year.

Ang two-part special ng 2022 Awit Awards ay mapapanood din ngayong December 3 & 4 sa IPTV Cable and Satellite, December 4 and 11 on TFC on IPTV, Cable and Satellite and on December 10 & 17, 2022 on Global Kapamilya Online Live on IPTV Cable.
