QC’s most wanted suspects fall

THE Quezon City Police District (QCPD) arrested three station-level “most wanted persons” (MWPs) by virtue of warrants of arrest in separate operations on Tuesday.

Masambong Police Station (PS) 2 under P/Lt. Col. Resty Damaso served arrest warrants to no. 3 MWP from Antipolo City and no. 4 MWP from Cainta Rizal are currently detained at Teresa District Jail Male Dormitory, Sitio Pantay, Barangay Dalig, Teresa Rizal.

Both accused are facing charges of violation of Republic Act (RA) 10883 or The New Anti-Carnapping Law and robbery issued by Judge Rowena De Juan Quinagoran of Regional Trial Court (RTC), Branch 166 of Pasig City.

Batasan PS-6 operatives under the helm of P/Lt. Col. Morgan Aguilar also arrested their no. 3 MWP, 23 years old, and a resident of Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City at Bgy. Commonwealth, QC.

The suspect was charged with two counts of statutory rape by RTC Br. 106, National Capital Judicial Region, QC.

“The QCPD is serious in its mandate to capture wanted persons as it strengthens its force in ensuring public safety. Our policemen will continue their intensive service of warrants of arrest against those criminals who have been hiding from the law,” QCPD Director P/BGen. Nicolas D. Torre III said as he encouraged the policemen of QCPD to exert their best efforts to ensure a peaceful and safe Quezon City.
