PH’s HK consulate, UST, Mapua take part in HKTDC Expo

THE Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong, along with Mapua University, University of Santo Tomas and Ateneo de Manila University, recently participated in the promotion of Philippine education at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) Education and Careers Expo 2024 held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).

The Expo gathered more than 800 institutions from 17 countries and regions and provided a platform to highlight the universities and promote their courses on engineering, arts, sciences, management and medicine.

The Expo also afforded opportunities to invite participants to various student exchange programs and forums such as Mapua University’s “International Field Study & Research (ISFR) 2024” and “Asian Science Deans Forum 2024.”

The Philippine Consulate also attended the HKTDC Education and Careers Expo Opening Ceremony officiated by Hong Kong’s Secretary for Civil Service Ingrid Yeung, HKTDC Executive Director Margaret Fong, Director of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts Professor Gillian Choa, Deputy Head of Office of European Union Office to Hong Kong and Macao Matthias Kaufmann, Chairman of the Construction Industry Council Ir. Thomas Ho, Consul General of Consulate General of France in Hong Kong & Macau Christile Drulhe, Deputy Consul General of German Consulate General Hong Kong Stefanie Seedig and Acting Executive Director of Vocational Training Council Dr. Eric Liu.
