P68K shabu seized in Balayan buy-bust
CAMP GEN. MIGUEL MALVAR, Batangas – The operatives of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit-Batangas Police Provincial Office (PDEU-BPPO) seized an estimated P68,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation at 12:50 a.m. Thursday, February 2, 2023, in Bgy. Lanatan, Balayan, Batangas.
A report by Batangas Police Director Col. Pedro Soliba to P/Brig. Gen. Jose Melecio C. Nartatez, Jr., PRO Calabarzon (Police Regional Office Cavite/Laguna/Batangas/Rizal/Quezon) director, said the suspect was a resident of Sto. Tomas, Batangas.
Two packages containing more than ten grams of shabu and P25,000 marked money were recovered from the suspect, authorities said.
The recovered evidence will be subjected to examination by the Batangas Provincial Forensic Unit.
The suspect is facing a charge of violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
