P1.3M shabu seized in QC buy-bust
OPERATIVES of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the Anonas Police Station (PS 9) and District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) confiscated P1,360,000 worth of shabu and arrested two suspected drug pushers in a buy-bust Saturday in Quezon City.
PLt.Col. Imelda Reyes, PS 9 commander, identified the arrested suspects as Oden Dirindigen, 42, resident of A. Bonifacio Ave., Bgy. Barangka, Marikina City and Jocelyn Salundagit, 48, resident of Zone 6, Ampid St., San Mateo, Rizal.
The buy-bust operation against the suspects was set at about 4 p.m. of June 26, 2021, along Kalayaan B, Commonwealth Avenue, Bgy. Batasan, Quezon City in coordination with PDEA RO-NCR.
The suspects were nabbed after selling P190,000 worth of shabu to a poseur buyer.
Confiscated were more or less 200 grams of shabu valued at P1,360,000,the buy-bust money, and a cellular phone used in the drug transaction.
The suspects will be charged with violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 while the confiscated pieces of evidence will be submitted to the QCPD Crime Laboratory Office for proper examination and documentation.
