AROUND 200 grams of shabu worth P1.3 million was seized by authorities from a “high-value drug personality” in a buy-bust operation Friday evening in Makati City.

Southern Police District Director P/BGen. Jimili Macaraeg said Ronilo Andaya, 53, was arrested at around 6:07 p.m. at No. 103-D 6th Avenue, Bgy. East Rembo when he sold a pack of shabu worth P44,000 to a police poseur-buyer in a drug sting operation.

When frisked, operatives of Makati Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit recovered from his possession a total of 200 grams of shabu with standard drug price of P1,360,000, marked money consisting of one genuine P1,000 bill and 43 pieces of boodle money, a belt bag, glass tooter and two identification cards.

“Sa pagluwag ng quarantine restriction, unti unting bumabalik ang mga ganitong illegal na aktibidad ngunit sa hanay ng Southern Police walang magbabago sa patuloy na pagsupil ng kapulisan sa lahat ng klase ng illegal na gawain,” Macaraeg said.
