CAMP QUINTIN MERECIDO, Buhangin, Davao City – A cache of firearms belonging to the CPP-NPA (Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army) rebel group was seized in Sitio Liboton, Bgy. Andap, New Bataan, Davao de Oro.

In a report to PRO11 Director Brig. Gen. Benjamin Silo Jr., Davao de Oro Police Commander Col. The operating team recovered three AK-47 rifles with two 30-round magazines and one M16 rifle with an attached M203 grenade launcher, which the rebel group buried in Sitio Libotan.
