New City Hall soon to rise in Carmona City
CARMONA CITY, Cavite — Mayor Dahlia A. Loyola and Cavite 5th district Rep. Roy Loyola on Wednesday led the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Carmona City Hall on Mayor’s Boulevard in Bgy. Maduya, this city.
The building of the new city hall is in collaboration with the SM Prime Holdings and SM Development Corporation.
According to the Loyolas, the new city hall will be the start of the transformation journey of Carmona towards becoming a buoy of progress and success.
The mayor said the new Carmona City Hall is just part of the ambitious Carmona International City (CIC) township development announced earlier this year.
Last July 8, the people of Carmona confirmed its cityhood via a plebiscite. Some 30,363 residents voted “Yes” to ratify the municipality’s conversion or almost five months later after Republic Act 11938 was signed by President Bongbong Marcos.
“Carmona’s transformation will surpass all expectations. We will make history, crafting a captivating story of global prominence,” Rep. Loyola said.
“Carmona will become the epitome of a vibrant destination for residents, tourists, and trade partners. Together, we will build a future that exceeds all possibilities,” the lawmaker added.
Also present during the occasion were SM Group of Companies Chairman of the Board and CEO Henry T. Sy, Jr., SM Group president Jose Mari Banzon, executive vice president Grace Sta. Ana, assistant vice president and cluster head for Business Development Jica Sy, vice president for Project Development Susan Nicdao, attorney Epitacio Borcelis, Vice Mayor Cesar Ines Jr., Sangguniang Panlungsod members, and the city’s Association of Barangay Captains.
“Abangan niyo po ang bagong Carmona City Hall na magsisilbing bagong tahanan ng ating makabuluhang serbisyo publiko na walang kahit sino man ang maiiwan, dahil Dapat Angat Lahat,” Mayor Loyola said.
