CAVITE CITY, Cavite – Former child actor Nash Aguas is joining the political arena and is set to run for councilor in this city.
Aguas, who’s real name is Aeign Zackery Nash Victoriano Aguas, on Tuesday took an oath as a new member of the Lakas-CMD political party.
The oath-taking was held at The Venue of Mount Sea Resort in Bgy. Bagbag 2, Rosario town.
The 22-year-old former “Goin’ Bulilit” star is tapped by Lakas CMD mayoral aspirant Vice Mayor Denver Chua to join the lineup for 10-man councilor, together with reelectionists councilor Edmund Tirona, Marrian Pinzon, Eduard Novero and Doods Nuguid and councilor aspirants Mark Amparo, Renan Montoya, Cris Paredes, Marc Serrano and Mau Lu.
Their vice mayoral candidate is former Cavite Councilor’s League Federation president Benzon Raleigh Rusit, the younger brother of gormer three-termer city dad Don Rusit.
Lakas-CMD national president and Leyte Congressman Ferdinand Romualdez administered the oath of membership, together with partymate actor and Vice Gov. Ramon “Jolo” Revilla II.
Revilla is seeking a congressional seat in the 1st district of Cavite after aspirant 1st district Board member Davey Chua gave way to “Jolo” for the united 1st district of Cavite.
