Witness in Laguna commits suicide or slain?
A RETIRED member of the Philippine National Police and the only witness in the recent killing of Philippine Airlines pilot Capt. Jeffrey Palce was found dead on a rice plantation in Rizal, Laguna.
Laguna Police Provincial Director Col. Serafin Petalio II identified the victim as Vicentito Isles, 59, Palces’ bodyguard and a retired policeman assigned at the Rizal Police Station.
Isles remains was found on Wednesday morning by his brother in a rice field in Bgy. Tala, Rizal.
The victim has three gunshot wounds in the head, neck and chest. An alleged suicide note was found beside him, with written words: ” Pagod na ako suko na ako by Tito.”
Isles was the only witness in the murder of Palce in an ambush in San Pablo City.
Palce ran for mayor of Rizal, Laguna during the 2016 elections but lost to his rival.
Before Isles was found dead, he told his friends that he was receiving death threats.
