MC driver dies in Batangas mishap

A 36-YEAR-OLD driver died after being thrown from his motorbike and seriously landing on the road pavement when he accidentally lost control of the steering wheel in Rosario, Batangas on Tuesday.

Rosario town police chief Major Carlo C. Caceres identified the fatality as Hermoso Nacario, Jr., with ive-in partner and resident of Bgy. Lumbangan, Rosario.

Case investigators PSSg Derwin Valencia, PSSg John Manuel Bercilla said Hermoso was seen driving a Rusi motorcycle at about 1:20 a.m. on November 30, and was heading towards Bgy. Mabato when the vehicle hit a pile of sand causing the driver to lose control on the steering handle.

The driver sustained injuries in the head and body and was rushed to Christ the Savior General Hospital, Inc. in Bgy. Poblacion A, but was pronounced dead on arrival by Dr. Danilo Tan.

The remains of the victim lie at the Laroza Funeral Homes in Bgy. Poblacion E, Rosario. Post mortem examination was conducted by municipal health officer Acting Chief, Dra. Alice Odette Torres.

Police said the driver was not carrying a driver license when the incident occurred.
