Mayor Jeannie transforms service quality for Malabon
THE first roll-out of Malabon’s contactless “ayuda card,” also known as the “Malabon Ahon Blue Card,” started today during the city government’s “Tugon sa Pangangailangan” event.
Around 4,000 head of households now has in hand their electronic card giving the residents of Malabon easy access to ayuda and other services that Malabon’s local government will provide.
The roll-out, which will continue until June, is one of the modernization initiatives Mayor Jeannie launched to have a collaborative, inclusive Malabon providing service quality for every household.
Processes that usually took hours will now only take a matter of seconds.
Malabon selected the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) which has forged a strong partnership with the Universal Storefront Service Center (USSC) as the prime contractor to provide the digital solution, which includes a secure operating system and helpdesk services.
“Every resident of Malabon deserves service quality, and transitioning to digital technology will speed up the service we provide as well as cut any bureaucracy,” said Mayor Jeannie.
Speeding up Sandoval’s services to her constituents is further strengthened with the launch of “Let’s connect TXTMJS.”
Roderick Tongol, head of DRRMO, announced the launch of the new platform during Saturday’s event.
His team is set to tackle and provide immediate intervention to complaints and requests, as well as be the Communication Center for receiving and sharing inquiries and feedback.
“TXTMJS reflects Mayor Jeannie’s comprehensive approach to improving her administration’s quality of service since she took office in July. The launch of this platform will enable every resident of Malabon to easily connect with the different departments under their local government,” explained Tongol.

“My administration’s modernization initiative is aimed to bring about a community-centric local government. We are revolutionizing how each resident of Malabon can communicate with their local government and receive the support they need,” added Sandoval.
