MANILA Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan led the fashion extravaganza, Rampa Manila, the city’s very first fashion show as part of the celebration for Manila City’s 452nd founding anniversary.

The show is an endeavor of the city government to celebrate the rich culture and history of Manila through the lens of fashion.

“We would like Manila to reclaim its place in Philippine fashion and culture, promote our local artists and the shops on Divisoria that play a big role in the textile trade. Manila offers a wide variety of inspiration and source of materials.” said Lacuna.

Renowned fashion icons Albert Andrada, Michael Leyva, Marlon Tuazon, Puey Quinones, and Jo Rubio will reveal their spellbinding collections, fusing the essence of Filipino heritage with cutting-edge trends.

The event isn’t just a show but it’s a platform where emerging talents such as John Jade Montecalvo, Gabriel Buenabajo, and Corven Uy, radiate alongside the luminaries of Philippine design.

The event promises to bring together an extraordinary ensemble of models and performers, who will bring the allure of the runway to life.
