Manila city hall employees urged to avail housing projects
MANILA Mayor Maria Sheila “Honey” Lacuna-Pangan encouraged all the employees of the city of Manila who wanted to avail the city’s housing projects to get in touch with the Manila Urban Settlement Office (MUSO).
The mayor made the call during the regular flag raising ceremony yesterday held at the Kartilya ng Katipunan and at the same time expressed her gratitude to the officials and employees of the MUSO who worked hard to give a decent and excellent home for Manileño families.
Earlier, MUSO head Atty. Danilo De Guzman, who served as host of the regular flag raising ceremony, said they are working hard, in cooperation with the local government, to organize and put in order the already constructed housing projects located in Tondo, Binondo, and Baseco.
For her part, Mayor Lacuna-Pangan, said employees of the Manila City Hall will be given priority to become a beneficiary for the three other housing projects located in San Lazaro, San Sebastian, and Pedro Gil, which are in near completion.
“Ang kagandahan po ng ating mga pabahay ay parang iniipon lang natin ang inyong buwanang ibinabayad. Kasi, pagdating ng panahon at gusto n’yo ng lisanin yung inyong pabahay ay maibabalik sa inyo yoon pong buwanan n’yong ibinabayad,” Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan explained.
