Man shot dead by RIT in QC
A 40-YEAR-OLD man was killed on the spot after he was shot by riding in tandem (RIT) suspects in Quezon City on Friday afternoon.
Police said Roger Gereza and his two companions were walking along Villareal Street in Barangay Gulod when he was shot at around 12:50 p.m.
His companions and other witnesses told police two men on board a motorcycle, one of whom was armed with a handgun of unknown caliber, opened fire at Gereza.
The suspects were already gone when policemen arrived at the scene.
A manhunt is underway against the suspects, who fled to an unknown direction.
Police are searching for leads on suspects’ identities and motives in killing Gereza.
