TOP seed Magnolia drew another superb game from former NBA player Mike Harris to roll back Alaska Milk, 118-91, and tighten its grip on the solo lead in the PBA Governors’ Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Harris proved unstoppable on both ends of the floor as he finished with 38 points and 10 rebounds in less than 30 minutes of action to lead the Hotshots to their ninth win against only one loss in this import- flavored but coronavirus-interrupted conference.

Harris struck hardest in the first quarter alone with 18 points on the way to his second-highest scoring game of the conference.

Harris went 15-of-20 from the field and 5-of-9 from three-point range for the Hotshots.

Ian Sangalang, Jio Jalalon, and Jackson Corpuz also came through with double-digit scores for Magnolia, which led by as many as 31 points and won its third straight game.

Sangalang added 14 points, while Corpuz and Jalalon conributed 12 points apiece.

Meanwhile, Alaska officially retired the jersey of Sonny Thoss.
