LTO marks 110th year
THE Land Transportation Office (LTO) celebrated its 110th anniversary inside the LTO’s compound in Diliman, Quezon City, Monday May 23.
No other than Assistant Secretary and LTO Chief Edgar Galvante led the simple opening ceremony witnessed by the agency’s officials and rank and file employees.
Hundreds of employees in different regions trooped into the LTO-Central Office and actively participated in the week-long sports fest activities in full support of the anniversary and the leadership of LTO.
Asec. Galvante, in his speech, cited several innovations made by the agency.
“Marami na tayong nagawa at ipagpatuloy natin ito para sa magandang serbisyo sa publiko,” said Galvante in an interview.
In separate interviews, officials and employees from other regions expressed their happiness in joining the celebration and actively participated in the sports fest.
“Masaya po kami after 2 years nagsamasama uli ang mga empleyado sa lahat ng regions,” said one of the LTO employees. By Jun I. Legaspi
