Hindi nakadalo si Alexa Ilacad sa ABS-CBN Christmas Special na ginanap sa Araneta Coliseum last Wednesday kahit pa pinaghandaan niya ito nang ilang araw at naka-set siyang pumunta.

Sa Instagram ay ipinaliwanag ng aktres na hindi siya nakapunta dahil nagpositibo siya sa Covid-19.

“To those still wondering why I was not at the Araneta Coliseum last night for the ABS-CBN Christmas Special, t’was coz I needed to isolate after testing positive for covid,” simula ni Alexa.

Ikinuwento ng aktres na ilang araw din siyang nagre-rehearse for her performance at ready na rin ang kanyang damit.

“Days prior to the Christmas Special, I was out for work only and activities in preparation for the event including rehearsals & fitting. I was heartboken not being there to see my fans and supporters who prepared long & hard for this event.

“I was ready. I wanted to make them proud. I wanted to give them back what they deserve. I felt I let them down, including KD who wasn’t able to do the loveteam prod. 💔” pahayag ni Alexa.

“But when I saw videos of my fans happily dancing, singing, screaming with their cute heart light sticks, the giant LEDs, the glow in the dark KDLEX shirts, the banners, I definitely felt so much happiness (while it also made me tear up 🥺),” patuloy niya.

Kaya naman sobra ang pasasalamat niya sa fans na matiyagang naghintay sa kanya sa Big Dome.

“I will ‘forever be grateful’ to you, our Sweethearts & Solids. Thank you for staying by for KD, thank you for the concern, the thoughtfulness, the love. They are all the reason why I desperately tried to prove that I was perfectly fine and capable of performing but safety protocols had to be followed,” mensahe ni Alexa sa fans.

Kahit hindi naisuot ang mga damit ay nagpasalamat din siya sa kanyang stylist at designers.

“Grateful to my Stylist, @pattyyap, for her dedication in making sure that all my 4 outfits for my prod numbers were special. It’s a shame I wasn’t able to showcase them coz they were all STUNNING! 🤩✨

“To the designers, @maraxchua & @maison_soriano, I will make sure to wear those gorgeous outfits in future events. To my PPP family, my Paraiso sisters, I appreciate you all so much. ♥️Ate @vanemadriaga, you’re a trooper!

“Again, to our supporters, thank you for being “there” (at the Araneta) for me & KD, and thank you for being there always, no matter what,” pahayag ni Alexa.
