DOT, GAOC boost dental tourism in PH
DENTIST to the stars, Dr. Steve Mark Gan, Chairman & CEO of GAOC – Gan Advanced Osseointegration Center, made a courtesy call to the Department of Tourism office on Feb. 20. The visit precedes the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the DOT and GAOC, aimed at bolstering dental tourism in the Philippines.

This partnership with GAOC aims to elevate the standard of dental services across the country, aligning with the DOT’s initiatives to train its workers and staff on the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE). Improving connectivity for dental travelers and expanding opportunities to rural areas are vital steps towards inclusivity in the industry.
The Department has continuously worked in collaboration with the Department of Transportation (DOTr), airlines, and neighboring countries to improve connectivity and promote dental tourism further in the Asia Pacific Region.
