UNDER the new guidelines to be released soon by the Executive Department, Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra on Sunday said that those who will be arrested for not properly wearing their face masks, and for other quarantine violations, would not be immediately hauled off to jail.

Instead, Guevarra said over radio station DZBB that violators would be temporarily sent to an open holding area with enough ventilation like a stadium pending investigation.

Iniiwasan natin yung magkahawaan
