Cavite LGUs feted in ‘Subaybayani Awards’
TAGAYTAY CITY, Cavite – Three cities and five municipalities here in Cavite received awards from the first-ever “Subaybayani Awards” of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) IV-A on December 7, 2022, held at Summit Ridge Hotel Tagaytay in recognition of the “exemplary” performances and efforts of the local government units (LGUs) as well as DILG IV-A’s field officers.
The cities of Dasmarinas, Imus, and General Trias were awarded, and Dasmariñas City was the “Top Implementer, Category B” of the highly urbanized city (HUC).
Imus and General Trias cities were recognized as “Outstanding Subaybayan LGU in Calabarzon,” under top Subaybayan compliant LGU in Category B (cities and HUC), top LGU implementer in Category B (cities and HUC).
While the towns of Maragondon, Magallanes, Mendez, and Ternate received “Outstanding SubayBayan LGU” for Category D, 4th to 6th class municipalities.
Carmona represented by Vice Mayor Cesar Ines Jr., received the top Subaybayan-compliant LGU for Category C for the 1st to 3rd-class municipality.
The Subaybayani Awards recognized the efforts of LGUs in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) who have shown excellence and consistent performance in the conduct of their duties in the implementation of locally-funded projects and in reporting and encoding project implementation status in the “SubayBAYAN System.”
