SEVERAL Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) – operated provincial airports joined in the celebration of Mother’s Day by distributing Malasakit Kits and Mother’s Day themed freebies to traveling mothers.

Airports including General Santos International Airport, Tuguegarao Airport, Dipolog Airport, Bicol International Airport, Davao International Airport, Cauayan Airport, Tacloban Airport, Catarman Airport, and Calbayog Airport took the initiative to distribute the freebies and tokens to traveling mothers.

“We recognize the hard work and sacrifices of all the mothers out there. The distribution of Malasakit Help Kits is just one way of showing that we honor their contributions and that we care about them. We hope that it will make them feel valued and supported as they continue to prioritize the needs of their families,” shared CAAP Director General Captain Manuel Antonio Tamayo.

This special activity is a testament to the provincial airports’ commitment to providing excellent service and care to the riding public. The Malasakit Kits and Mother’s Day-themed freebies are just some of the many ways CAAP-operated airports are going above and beyond to make passengers feel appreciated.

Malasakit Kits have been regularly distributed by CAAP on other special occasions such as Valentine’s Day, International Women’s Day, Father’s Day, as well as during “Oplan Biyaheng Ayos” campaigns in dense transit seasons such as during Christmas, All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day (Undas), and Holy Week.
