Boy, 4, drowns in Taal lake
A 4-YEAR-OLD boy drowned early Tuesday morning while bathing in the waters off Binintiang Malaki Pulo, Poblacion 8, Talisay, Batangas.
According to Talisay Municipal Police Station (MPS) Investigator P/Cpl. Nelson L. Cabuso Jr. said the fatality was a 4-year-old boy and a resident of Bgy. Bugaan, East Laurel.
Laurel MPS reported the incident to Talisay Police at 12:30 p.m.
Mary Ann Noblezada, the victim’s mother, said they went to the lake to swim.
Around 8:30 a.m., after having their lunch at the said place, her son was playing on the shoreline of Taal Lake.
Later, they noticed the victim was not around and decided to search the entire lake and found the boy’s body underneath the water.
The victim was rushed to Malabanan Memorial Hospital in Laurel but was pronounced dead on arrival by attending physician, Mark Joseph S. Gallemit.
