Bettor wins P103M Mega Lotto jackpot

THE Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said a lone bettor who purchased a ticket from an outlet in Malabon City won the over P103 million jackpot of Mega Lotto 6/45 during Friday night’s draw.

According to the PCSO, the winning combination was 10-12-02-27-03-18.

The Mega Lotto had a total jackpot of P103,269,281.60.

However, the amount will be subjected to 20 percent tax as mandated by the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Law. Therefore, the lucky bettor will take home P82,615,425.28.

The government will get over P20 million from the winnings of the Malabon bettor or a sum of P20,653,856.32.

Meanwhile, the PCSO said 122 bettors each won P32,000 as consolation prize. This sum will also be subjected to the TRAIN Law’s 20 percent tax as it is above P20,000.

To claim their prizes, the winners must go to the PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present their tickets and two IDs.

All lotto draws are being aired live every 9 p.m. on PTV 4.

The Lotto 6/42 draw is every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday while the Super Lotto 6/49 draw is every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

The Mega Lotto 6/45 draw is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday; Grand Lotto 6/55 is every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday; and the Ultra Lotto 6/58 is every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
