THE Caloocan City Government’s “Batang Kankaloo Kids’ Camp” is set to open its doors once again to its residents aged 5 to 12 years old on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the People’s Park in Caloocan City Hall-South.

The Batang Kankaloo Kids’ Camp, according to Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan, is an avenue to promote children’s physical and emotional well-being while also providing families with the chance to spend valuable time together.

“We saw the success of this project last year so we decided to continue the kids’ camp this 2023.

In a statement, the Gender and Development Resource and Coordination Office (GADRCO) Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Jan Christine Bagtas said that aside from holding various health and dental services, fun games and activities were also organized for the participants who pre-registered for the event.

“Tuwing Kids’ Camp marami po tayong inihahandang mga aktibidad, mayroon tayong storytelling activity, art workshops, inflatable playground, photo booth, face painting, bukod dito naghahanda rin tayo ng iba’t-ibang snacks at higit sa lahat mayroon tayong health at dental consultations, kung saan namamahagi tayo ng vitamins at oral health kits,” Bagtas said.

The Caloocan City Government also assured that safety and health protocols will be strictly implemented during the event.

The Batang Kankaloo Kids’ Camp will be held twice a month to cater to the residents from North and South Caloocan.
