BULACAN 4th District Rep. Linabelle Ruth Villarica, president of the 86-strong Association of Women Legislators Foundation, Inc. (AWLFI), together with San Jose Del Monte City Lone District Rep. Florida Robes, event chairperson, led the cutting of the ceremonial ribbon during the launching of the “PamasCONG Handog : Garage Sale for a Cause III” at the House of Representatives recently.
The event showcased pre-loved items from Chamber members, including Former President and Senior Deputy Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, as well as pieces of apparel donated by President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.
As a way of support for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), the event also offered products of local artisans, crafters and entrepreneurs.
The ceremony was also graced by Representatives Lianda Bolilia, Arlene Brosas, Josefina Tallado, Bernadette Herrera, Juan Carlos Atayde, Lolita Javier, Milagros Magsaysay, Maria Carmen Zamora, Ma. Rene Ann Lourdes Matibag, Jocelyn Sy Limkaichong, Anna Victoria Veloso-Tuazon, Janette Garin, Midy Cua and Irene Gay Saulog and celebrity guests Ruffa Gutierrez, Cristine Reyes and Karla Estrada.
Proceeds of the fundraiser will go towards the Foundation’s social advocacies.
House Majority Leader Manuel Jose Dalipe also attended the occasion as guest speaker..
