AJ’s decision doubted
DURING the mediacon for the new Vivamax movie, ‘Kaliwaan,’ AJ Raval shares that the reason why she turned down ‘Scorpio Nights 3’ is because she is bound to go to college soon.
It is just puzzling when she gave another reason: ‘Maghuhubad pa rin po ako sa pelikula pero dapat may katuturan.”
It’s like judging the Scorpio Nights project from its core, when it has launched two actresses, Anna Marie Gutierrez in the 80s (along with now Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando), and Joyce Jimenez, the original Pantasya ng Bayan in the 90s. Scorpio Nights 1 and 2 were respectively directed by two esteemed Filipino filmmakers, the late Peque Gallaga and Erik Matti.
The ‘Scorpio Nights 3’ project is now in the happy hands of new sexpot, Christine Bermas, the innocent-looking beauty queen from Palawan.
But some doubting Thomases are saying that AJ’s decision must have been influenced by her rumored boyfriend, Aljur Abrenica.
Well, we wish AJ the best in her decision. Going back to school is really a commendable move, but if it something else, AJ should think twice as she really has big potentials as an actress.
‘Kaliwaan,’ AJ says, has action scenes which may lead to her getting action projects in the future as she wants to follow in the footsteps of her dad, Jeric Raval.

MEANWHILE, “Kaliwaan”, an upcoming Vivamax original film directed by Daniel Palacio and produced by no less than the internationally acclaimed and multi award-winning director Brillante Mendoza, will take viewers on a suspenseful ride as the story of Monica, Boogie and Marlon unfold.
Monica (AJ Raval) is a captivating and ambitious woman who’s the girlfriend of Boogie (Vince Rillon), a security guard , But despite being in a relationship, Monica sleeps with Raji (Juami Gutierrez), a big time businessman from an influential clan.
Due to jealousy, Boogie confronts Raji. It results to a bloody end, and Raji’s clan doesn’t take it sitting down. Boogie seeks the help of his uncle, Marlon (Mark Anthony Fernandez), a policeman, but the situation worsens.
Since her launching movie, “Paglaki Ko Gusto Kong Maging Porn Star”, in 2021, AJ has proven to have that charm as a sexy actress.Will it be the last time the audience would see AJ showing some skin onscreen?
