Abucay PNP conduct community outreach program, hanging of tarpaulins’ hot lines
ABUCAY, Bataan- In yet another laudable service to the public in their bid to bring their services closer to the people, the Abucay PNP led by its chief of police, Major Dennis B. Duran conducted Saturday feeding program activities
to Day care students and posted tarpaulins wherein the hotline numbers are indicated to enable the public get immediate access in times of emergencies and calamities.
Col. Rommelle Velasco, Bataan police director, said this is in line with Chief PNP Rodolfo Azurin’s programs for Peace and Security “Entitled MKK=K (Malasakit Kaayusan Kapayapaan tungo sa Kaunlaran),” saying this was also being carried out by all PNP stations in Bataan.
In this booming town, police personnel of Abucay PNP station under the supervision and initiative of Major Duran, Chief of Police, together with Advisory Support Groups and KKDAT members conducted a “Community Outreach Program through Food Feeding Activity” to Day Care Students at the coastal barangay of Wawa, Abucay, Bataan.
According to Major Duran, the aim of this program is to help the people in the barangay during this time of pandemic. He said this program was carried out in partnership with Barangay/stakeholders in fulfilling their basic needs.
“It is also an opportunity for us to create the perception that we are empowering the basic unit in governance through the barangay,” Duran said in a statement.
Last Saturday, police personnel of Abucay PNP station, Major Duran and his men also conducted hanging of tarpaulins wherein the hotline numbers of different Municipal/City Police Stations, Hospitals, BFP Stations and other Government Offices of Bataan Province in front of Abucay Municipal Police Station and boundaries of this municipality are indicated to enable the public get access in times of emergencies and calamities.
“Moreover, personnel of this station also conducted distribution of hotline numbers to different business establishments; Public Market and TODA members within Area of Responsibilities,” added Major Duran.
